Saturday 20th of July will go down in CAA history as the biggest attendance ever for a club event.
Opened by our patron Su Pollard, well over 200 came to The Actors Church in Covent Garden and a wonderful time was had by all. Crazy Golf, Punch and Judy, Mardi Gras Jazz Band, ‘Cool’ Karl Charity, disco, raffle and more.
The weather was kind and a lovely atmosphere of fun, laughter and friends meeting up was created. We drank the church bar dry but one of the real highlights was the constant supply of food cooked by our so hard-working chairman Nicholas Robinson, helped by Peter and Christine. Over 200 burgers and hot dogs takes some doing!
